Camp Aims & Philosophy
tbrparkcity aims to foster a level of skill development and rider passion geared towards success in competition from Interschools through to athletes who wish to pursue the highest levels of competition such as World Cup or the Olympics.
tbrparkcity intends to achieve its aims by creating a fun, structured training environment , focusing on best preparing skiers via groomed run technique, free skiing, jumping and training on Steamboat’s world leading mogul courses.
Based on the advice of Australian Institute of Sport Mogul Coach Steve Desovich, the best way to develop athletes to maximise personal technical development and achieve ultimate success is to focus on training and skill development, with less emphasis on competing during an athlete’s teenage years.
As such we will focus on training opportunities and limit excessive competition. Athletes will compete in any local events that do not compromise training.
